Designed in collaboration with Funktion One, the FF2.2 2 channel + microphone channel, audiophile professional, DJ mixer is optimised for vinyl mixing. It features 4 capacitance settings for best cartridge match, high accuracy RIAA circuit, rumble filter and noise cancelling. All of which contribute towards making it unbeatable for vinyl mixing and one of the best analogue signal path mixers in the world.

Each channel has 2 inputs, 12 LED meter, 4 band full kill EQ, FX loop and adjustable high and low pass filters.
The low pass filter is adjustable from 20khz to 1khz and the high pass from 20hz to 1khz.

Channel 1 & 2 inputs are Line and Phono, channel 3 is on balanced 1/4 inch 3 pole Jack sockets.
There is also a Mic input that may be set to Booth mix or post Booth mix.
The output section includes master, booth, cross fader curve, FX wet / dry and headphone controls plus metering for booth and master.

The audiophile FF2.2L has been designed to have the best Phono input performance on a 2 channel mixer.
The Phono input has four input capacitance settings to optimize matching to your MM cartridge. The capacitance settings are: 100pF, 150pF, 220pF and 330pF. Remember that the capacitance of the phono lead, which is usually at least 50pF, needs to be added to these values.
The Phono amp is a 2 stage design with near ideal RIAA tracking characteristics.
Each Phono input has switchable rumble filter and noise cancelling. The rumble filter starts at 14Hz, it is a 4 stage, Sallen Key Filter which theoretically, has a 48dB per octave slope although in practice it is slightly less. Phase change happens in the roll off region, below 14Hz. Frequencies at or above 20Hz are unaffected.

The FF2.2L is based on the Formula Sound / Funktion One FF4.2/FF6.2 mixers but with some changes / improvements.

The inputs are very similar but with vastly improved phono performance and an FX loop replacing AUXs. Due to space constraints some controls are now setup only (mute eq and booth pan are now underneath).

The FX Switch on each channel sends that channel to the 1/4 inch send jack and routes the FX return 1/4 inch jack returns to that channel, it acts like an insert for whichever channel selects FX.

The mic input has 2 band eq that can be preset through the base. Also through the base, is a switch putting the mic in or out of the booth.

Channel 1 & 2 inputs are selected by a switch at the top of each channel.

Channels 1 & 2 route to master or can be assigned to their side of the X fader with a X-Fade select Switch.

Channel 3 is a balanced input on 1/4 inch jacks and routes only to booth and master, it has volume control and 4 LED level metering.

Master and Booth outputs are balanced on XLR with additional master and record outputs on phono sockets.
A mono balanced output is on XLR, this output may be switched to Sub Bass by a control through the base of the mixer.

The line inputs have gain trims accessible through the back panel and the mic has a gain trim accessible through the base.

The Booth and Master have 12 LED metering for both left and right stereo.
The Booth has a mono switch and pan pot accessible through the base.

The headphone output is on a 1/4 inch 3 pole jack (Headphones must be at least 32 ohms).
Headphone controls include cue, mix, split and pre/post EQ listening.

The cross fader curve can be varied with a control in the output section.

The FF2.2L includes, as standard, an external power supply unit to ensure optimal audio quality.
